I have made this numerous times and it is always perfect. Stays fresh longer than others. From Bread Machine Magic by Linda Rehberg & Lois Conway. Also makes a great meatloaf sandwich.
Anita's Italian Herb Bread 1 1/2 pound loaf
1 1/8 c. buttermilk (or 4tbl. dry buttermilk powder and 1 1/8 c. water) 3 cups bread flour 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 tbl oil 1 tbl sugar 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan 1/4 tsp dried basil 1/4 tsp dried oregano 2 tsp yeast
Follow instructions for your bread machine. After baking, cool on wire rack and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.
