I have tried the "Classic Sunday Coffee Cake" as described on TKL . You will find the recipe from the TKL homepage, then select the "featured cookbooks" and then the "sample recipes". There you will find the recipe under the above mentioned title.
It is a very yummy cake. I chose to bake it with pitted sour cherries and instead of pecans I used almonds. It was not sweet, it used a little butter and just one egg.
It goes perfect with a nice cup of coffee.
