Hi Joyce! I hope this recipe isn't too late. When is the wedding? These are
dainty, pretty cookies. I hope they will work for you. This recipe is from
the Betty Crocker's Cookie Book ( excellent book,I do recomend it !).

Almond Bonbons
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine,softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
2 TBSP.milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 package ( 7-8 oz. size) almond paste
Almond Glaze

Preheat oven to 375 F.Beat flour, butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla
in a large bowl on medium speed until well combined.
Cut the almond paste into 1/2" slices ; cut each slice into fourths.
Shape a 1" ball of dough around each piece of almond paste.Gently roll
to form balls.Place about 1" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until set and bottom is
golden brown.Remove cookies to a wire rack to cool.Cool completely.
Dip tops of cookies into Almond Glaze.

Almond Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp.almond extract
4-5 tsp. milk
Mix all ingredients until smooth and spreadable.May tint glaze any color
with food coloring.
Exceptionally pretty if tinted pastel shades, then drizzled with white
