Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies
1 package (1 pound 5.2 ounces) Betty Crocker® fudge brownie mix 2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350°. Prepare Fudgelike Brownies as directed on package for 13-inch rectangular pan--except reserve 1 cup batter. Spread remaining batter in pan. Beat cream cheese in medium bowl on medium speed until creamy. Gradually beat in sugar. Beat in vanilla and egg until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop cream cheese mixture by tablespoonfuls onto batter in pan; carefully spread over batter. Drop reserved batter by tablespoonfuls onto cream cheese mixture. Gently swirl through batter with metal spatula. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool completely. Store covered. 18 brownies.
