Sometimes I like to "play" with the filling ingredients. Since I crave cream cheese like chocolate, here's my variation on the napoleon filling (tho this makes much more filling than just for 1 serving!):
8 oz. cream cheese, softened (can be fat-free) 1 small pkg. vanilla pudding, made per directions 8 oz. Cool Whip (can be fat-free)
In a mixing bowl, mix the cream cheese 'til fluffy. Gently fold in the pudding 'til well mixed, and then gently fold in the Cool Whip 'til well mixed.
This filling is terrific between layers of angelfood cake & topped with fresh sliced strawberries! |
