What a treat. I just found a booklet published by the Culinary Arts Institute in 1940 titled, "250 Classic Cake Recipes." It's great. Can't post all the recipes, but thought if someone if looking for a particular cake from that era, I will keep this by my computer. Let me know. Has pages on fillings and frostings, as well.
