This looks like the one ! Thank you - that is marvellous - this cake has become an obsession with me... I will try it on the weekend. As I live in the UK now there is nowhere I can buy it. Should I use 'Mixed Spice' from the supermarket shelf, or do you think every cook has there own version of the spices that go into mixed spice. I felt there was a cardomon/5 spice/aniseed flavour to Catherine cake..
