thanks for the recipe. I will give it a try. my butter cake needs long baking time (1 hour) at low temp. (160C/325F) You know the traditional pound cake style. In fact, i tried it without the ovalette and turned out perfect again. I think that's why ovaleet doesn't work for my recipe. it's ok. i will try your recipe next time when i want to use that ovalette... ^_^
i am now baking 12 cakes (size 1o in square) for a fund raising this coming sunday. so far, i only managed to make 3 chocoate ones (frozen up)... still have 9 cakes (3 kinds) to go... as i am going up to KL to see my hubby this labor day weekend, i must finish all by thursday! I am going to leave all the cakes with my mother-in-law! ha!
