Nan, thanks for the reply. I have been using the Kitchenaid for 13 years and if I remember correctly, my pound cake problems may have started with the use of the mixer. I have noticed that the bottom does not always incorporate and the stiffer doughs tend to flatten against the sides of the bowl. I try to scrape freq and try to stir from the bottom. I'll use my old moxer for the next cake and hope for the best. |
