Quiche Pastry
1-1/4 cup all purpose flour 1 stick unsalted chilled butter 1/4 tsp salt 4 tbls ice water
Combine dlour and salt in food processor and pulse several times. Place chilled butter, cut in pieces, into food processor and pulse till a crumb like mixture forms. Add water and pulse until a ball forms. Form this ball into a flattened round and cover with plastic and refrigerate- at least 1 hour.
Roll out dough on well floured surface. Place in 10 in quiche pan and chill for 30 min. Blind bake in 375 degree oven for 20-25 min till edges are slightly colored. Cool to room temp.
