found in a Filipino bakery, but unsure of it's origin. Weird combination with onion, but delicious. The onion taste is not that strong. It's shaped like a half circle and has a brown sweet filling between layers of flaky pastry. The pastry has a constistancy of pie crust rather than phyllo dough
