These cookies are baked on paper, (my mom used old brown paper grocery bags she cut up), on cookie sheets. You cut marachino cherries in quarters and place on top of each one before baking. I remember them containing chocolate chips but that may have been optional. They come out "crunchy" and have to be handled delicately. This also causes them to melt in your mouth. Unfortunately this is all I remember about them. Hoping someone recognizes this recipe and has it to share. Thanks!
