I tried twice making the dough of danish pastries, and it was quite simple but, at the end, the dough didn't grow. The first time I thought it was the yeast that was old, and the second time I bought new packages. The recipe requires active dry yeast that is sprinkled over warm milk, but I only found "Instant yeast" from Gist-Brocades. It also is granulated, and I think it should be the same.
Well, the dough didn't grow either not even after the pastries were baked.
What could be the problem?
