Judi, I just use my regular bread recipe.I grease (really well) some ovenproof soup bowls and make about 3-4 buns out of each 1 loaf piece (my recipe is for 4 loaves). I let them rise in the oven and then, when I think they're big enough, I turn the oven on and bake them. From the 4 loaf batch of dough I can get 6-8 bread bowls and 2 regular size loaves. We just had some last night. They were VERY yummy! My husband cut the tops out of the bowls and we ladled in the chowder. Hope this helps.
