Snow Flakes
Time: 12-15 min. Temp: 350 F
1 Cup Shortening
1 3oz pkg Cream Cheese (softened)
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg Yolk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Teaspoon finely grated Orange Rind
2 1/2 Cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1. Cream the shortening and cheese well. Add sugar gradually and cream the mixture.
2. Beat in Egg Yolk, Vanilla and Orange Rind
3. Sift flour with salt and cinnamon.
4. Add to creamed mixture.
5. Fill a MIRRO Cookie press.
6. Form fancy cookies on an ungreased cookie sheets
7. Decorate with colored sugar, cinnamon sugar or chopped almonds
8. Bake
9. Remove at once form sheets. Cool on wire cake racks
