I have made quite a few different breads, from yeast breads to quick breads. I want to make some of these for a 'sampler' gift for Easter. I have a loaf pan that has 8 loaf impressions approximately 2 x 3 inches each. Can the larger loaf recipes be used to make these smaller loaves. I'm sure it will require a decrease in baking time, but I'm wondering if there is a conversion chart for how many small loaves you should get out of a recipe that makes, say, one large loaf. I envision breads running over the top and becoming a permenant part of my stove or wrapped around the loaf pan...hehehe. I'd like to hear from some of you who have used this 'sampler' idea.....I see lots of recipes on this site I would LOVE to make using this idea!
