BASIC BEER BREAD 3 c. self-rising flour* 3 tsp. sugar 1 can beer, at room temperature
Mix. Pour into loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Butter top while hot for softer crust. EGG BEER BREAD 3 c. self-rising flour* 3 tbsp. sugar 1 can beer (room temp, not lite) 2 eggs
Mix well all at once. Bake in bread loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
(*If you want to use all-purpose flour, add 1 teaspoon baking powder plus 1/2 teaspoon baking soda to the recipe. The amount of sugar can be altered to suit your own taste.) |
