This recipe was posted in another board and had great reviews. I am going to try it today. One comments was that it was a bit salty. I may cut back on the salt at the ranch dressing would have salt in it. Hope this works.
ABM Favorite Cheese Bread Recipe By: Better Homes and Gardens, Feb. 2001
1 cup water (1 1/4 cup)--room temp. 3 cups flour (4 cups) 1 Tbsp. sugar (2 Tbsp.) 1 tsp. salt (1 1/2 tsp.) 1 Tbsp. dried buttermilk powder (2 Tbsp.) 1/4 cup sour cream (1/2 cup) 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup) 1 Tbsp. dried chives (2 Tbsp.) 1 Tbsp. dry ranch dressing mix (like Hidden Valley) (2 Tbsp.) 1 tsp. yeast or bread machine yeast (1 1/4 tsp.)
Add ingredients to your bread machine in the order your manual instructs.
The first measurements are for a 1 1/2 lb. loaf and the second meaurements are for a 2 lb. loaf.
