Can anyone tell me what the instant vanilla pudding is supposed to do in the cinnabon clone recipes out there? I've tried it twice and both times the rolls were dense and heavy. I know I didn't add too much flour either. I tried it the first time by just adding the dry pudding in the recipe, and the second time, by mixing it according to the package directions and then adding it. What is the purpose of the pudding?
