I do not have a recipe for the muffins you asked for, however this is what I would do. Make the muffins (recipe below). When they are cool cut the center out and fill with no-bake pumpkin pie filling (recipe below). Frost with cream cheese frosting (recipe below). These sound pretty good and now I think I will have to make them.

Spiced Pumpkin Muffins Submitted by: Land O'Lakes, Inc. 2 cups all-purpose flour 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/3 cup white sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 cup butter, melted 1/2 cup canned pumpkin 1/3 cup buttermilk 2 eggs, slightly beaten Heat oven to 400 . Stir together all ingredients except butter, pumpkin, buttermilk and eggs in large bowl. Stir together all remaining ingredients in medium bowl. Stir into flour mixture just until moistened.
Spoon batter into paper-lined or greased muffin pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan. No Bake Pumpkin Pie Posted By: Jo/Az
In saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp cinnamon 2 eggs 2 Tbsp flour 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup milk 1 heaping cup pumpkin (canned)
Heat until thick, then add 2 or 3 Tbsp butter. Stir together. Pour into a baked pie shell. Top with whipped cream. (The lady who gave me this recipe said that it's pumpkin pie that people who don't like pumpkin pie love.)

Makes 2 cups
1/2 cup butter, softened 8 ounces cream cheese 4 cups confectioners' sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Beat softened butter and cream cheese until well blended.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
