In my experience ALL cookies freeze well. I have made crisp cookies and gooey ones and they all taste great after freezing--even after many months. I usually warm them in the oven or micro to give them a 'just out of the oven' flavor, but it is not necessary.
I have not had good luck however freezing batter then defrosting and baking--a real hassle. It is better just to bake them all and freeze the extras.
