CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS
Base:
1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus devil's food cake mix 21 oz. can cherry pie filling 1 tsp. almond extract 2 eggs, beaten
Frosting: 1 c. sugar 5 Tbsp. butter 1/3 c. milk 1 c. chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour jelly roll pan (15 x 10-inches) or 9 x 13-inches. In large bowl, combine base ingredients. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into pan. Bake jelly roll pan 20 to 30 minutes; 13 x 9-inch pan 25 to 30 minutes. In small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over warm bars. Makes 36 bars.
