Peanut Butter Corn Flake Cookies
6 cups cornflakes 1/2 cup peanuts 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup corn syrup 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 tsp vanilla
In a large bowl, combine cornflakes and peanuts, and set aside.
In a heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until butter melts and sugar dissolves.
Let mixture boil hard for 1-minute. Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and vanilla and beat until peanut butter melts. Pour mixture over cornflakes and stir until evenly combined.
Press into a 13x9" pan and chill until firm Cut into 1x3" pieces

PEANUT BUTTER CORNFLAKES SQUARES 1 cup Brown sugar 1 cup Corn syrup 1 cup Peanut butter 7 cups Cornflakes 1 cup Wheatgerm 1 1/2 cups Peanuts Combine sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter in a pan. Bring to a boil, stirring til smoothly blended. For chewy squares boil for 1 minute. For crisp squares boil for 2-3 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Pour syrup over cereal mix and blend well. Turn into a greased 11X15X2 pan . Press down firmly. Cut into squares when cool.
