There is no indication if you want a recipe for fondant [sugar paste covering] for cakes or an actual cake called "fondant cake.
I did a quick search and this recipe came up. [I have made this cake numerous times under the title of "Nanna's cake" or "Cream Cake".
Fondant Cake
3/4 cup cream 2 cups powdered sugar 2 cups flour 2 eggs
Blend and put in wax paper lined shallow pan. Sprinkle with lemon rind or nuts. Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
