One of my brother's sister-in laws brought these to last year's cookie exchange. They were the favorite of many of us.

Nut Wedges

9" double pie crust
1/4 sugar
3-4 Tablespoon water
1 cup finely chopped nuts
1/3 cup sugar
2 Tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
milk

Prepare pie crust stirring in 1/4 cup sugar & adding enough water to form a ball. Divide in half.
On a floured surface, roll each half of the dough into a 9" circle. Transfer one circle to an un-greased cookie sheet. For filling, combine nuts, 1/3 cup cup sugar, honey, cinnamon and lemon juice. Spread over dough circle. Top with remaining dough circle. Use tines of fork to seal edges & prick dough. Brush with milk. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 15-20 minutes or until pastry starts to brown. Cool 10 minutes on a wire rack. While warm, cut into 16-20 wedges. Cool completely.
