MAGIC COOKIE BARS
1/2 cup margarine or butter 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1 can of Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk) 6 oz. package of semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 1/3 cups of flaked coconut 1 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350° ( For a glass dish, use 325°) In a 13x9x2" baking pan or dish, melt margarine in oven. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over margarine: pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly, then the coconut and finally the nuts. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool. Chill if desired. Cut into bars and store loosely covered at room temperature.
