School Batter Bread
3 cups warm milk 3 pkgs. dry yeast 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs, beaten 5 cups flour 1 1/2 cups rolled oats 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup melted butter (for top after baking)
Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk.
Stir in beaten eggs. Add flour, oats, and salt. Mix well and spread in greased 11x15 inch pan and let rise 1 hour.
Bake at 375 degrees until done. Brush with melted butter while hot. Slice and serve.
