The dump cakes I make are just cake mixed dumped into a 13x9 pan sprayed with non stick spray topped with a can of crushed pineapple, 1 stick of margarine or butter cut up and maybe some chopped nuts. Sometimes I use cherry pie filling instead. My sister-in-law uses both the can of pineapple AND the cherry pie filling. We knew this as Nellie Jewel's Cake when we were growing up, after the friend of my Mom's that gave us the recipe. I plan to try the white cake mix, eggs, oil, water and cherry pie filling recipe next. -Micha
