The chocolate spritz recipe that I make uses melted chocolate squares, so I can't vouch for the quality of this one. Hope it helps.

CHOCOLATE SPRITZ COOKIES

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 whole egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
5 tbsp. cocoa

Cream butter, sugar, and salt till light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla till thoroughly mixed. Stir in flour and cocoa till dough is formed.

Form into shapes from cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheets; bake in preheated 375-degree oven until set and very slightly brown at edges.
