I'm not familiar with that particular cake, but I found a recipe that would probably fill the bill. You don't mention any other ingredients or the variety of nut, so I'm just guessing; but the following recipe might be close to what you want. If you know any other details about the cake, let me know and I'll look further.

DATE-NUT CAKE

4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 lb. pitted dates, chopped
4 cups pecan halves
1 tsp. baking powder

Do not preheat oven.

Combine eggs, sugar, and oil and beat well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Place in oiled and floured 9x5x5-inch loaf pan; bake in slow oven, 300F for approximately 2 hours. Makes 1 (3 lb.) loaf
