Hazel, I have never made this, but it sounds interesting.

Easy Pie Crust

1/3 cup butter flavored shortening (Crisco)
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cold 7-Up

Put shortening, flour and salt in a large plastic Tupbbermaid or Tupperware bowl with a lid. Preferably cover with a seal; burp air out, shake vigorously up and down until dough is broken up into small pieces.

Open and add 7-Up. Re-seal and shake in a circular motion till dough forms a ball. Roll out for pie crust (recipe can be doubled to make 2 crusts).
