BLONDE BROWNIES
1 cup oleo 2 cups sugar 3 eggs 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1 package chocolate chips
Cream together oleo and sugar; add eggs. Add flour, vanilla, and walnuts; stir to mix. Stir in chocolate chips OR sprinkle atop batter in greased 9x13-inch pan.
Bake 35 minutes at 350F.
BUTTERFINGER BLONDE BROWNIES
2 1/4 cups flour 1 Tablespoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup melted oleo 2 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar 3 eggs 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 4 (2.1-ounce each) Butterfinger bars, coarsely crushed
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
In medium bowl with mixer on medium speed, mix oleo and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour and 1 cup of Butterfingers. Spread in greased 13x9-inch pan. Sprinkle rest of Butterfingers atop.
Bake at 350F 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Cool. Cut bars.
