silly me to reply to my own post. anyway, i am now in KL so i can find all sorts of cheeses and cream and whatever. (i was new here and didn't know where to shop for the rightful ingredients when i posted the recipe. but i realized that there are aplenty here! stupid of me!)

so i bought the mascarpone cheese to make this cake. (DH is away for a 10day business trip to china so i thought to spend sometime baking, which i haven't been doing for the longest time!) so there, i made this cake as it's so yummy!

the next i am going to tackle is gladys' recipe as soon as i gather all the ingredients. passionfruit (her rec) is not in season i think... can't find them yet...

anyway, try this recipe. the cake is soooo delicious!
