Chocolate Cake

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup sour milk
3/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup cocoa
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup boiling water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. Put in 1 cup boiling water in last. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes until mixed well. Pour into 13 x 9 lightly greased and floured pan or two round cake pans.

Bake 30-40 minutes or until cake tests done.
