BLACK-EYED SUSANS

1/4 lb. sharp cheese, grated
1 cup butter, softened
3 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Dates
Pecan halves

Combine cheese and butter until creamed. Add salt to flour and mix with cheese and butter.

Take 1 teaspoon mix, flatten. In middle of flattened mix add date and wrap mix around date. Place pecan half on top.

Bake for 10-15 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet in preheated 450 degree oven.
