Marcia, just leave it in the springform pan but remove the side of the pan before cutting. It won't melt, in fact, I leave it out about 15 minutes before serving. You will need a very sharp knife to cut through the Nutella, it can get hard from the freezing, but will soften up by letting it sit out awhile.

I have thought about putting Release aluminum foil on the bottom of the springform pan and perhaps one would be able to slide the cake off the foil onto a plate, but haven't tried that yet.
