Betsy-I tried this recipe and though it was close to the one I am looking for, it was not the same. The consistancy of the batter was dry and the color was light brown, with more of a ginger bread quality. I want a batter closer to a cake batter and a deep brown color, and when cooked looks the same as a chocolate cake with the same moist consistancy. When served with butter it is wonderful...so I'll keep looking. Thanks for your time and effort.
