This recipe started out with a basic white bread; Then divided in to 3. From there you added ingredients to one to make rye bread, and to the second one to make pumpernickle. The 3 breads were braided into one loaf.
I use to make it all the time - just loved it! Moved numerous times and lost my recipe.
