Denise, I think this might work if you used strawberry jello.-Micha GRANDMA AGNES' JELLO ICING
1 cup milk 2 3/4 Tablespoons flour 1/2 cup Crisco or Spry Vegetable Shortening 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/4 to 1/2 package jello
Combine milk and flour in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Cook until thick. Chill well.
Cream crisco with sugar. Add jello (dry). Cream well.
Add thoroughly chilled flour mixture a spoon at a time. Beat after each addition. After last addition, beat until thick like whipped cream.
