Elizabeth, I have not tried this yet. I picked it up from an old chat here on TRL. Let us know how it turns out!
CREAM CHEESE CRESCENT SQUARES
2 pkgs. refrigerated crescent roll dough 2 (8oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 1 egg, separated 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 TBSP. lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Press 1 pkg of crescent rolls into 13x9-inch baking pan.
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add egg yolk, sugar, and flavorings. Blend. Pour mixture over rolls.
Cover with other package of rolls, stretching to fit.
Slightly beat egg white with 1 tsp. water; brush over top. Sprinkle lightly with sugar.
Bake 30 minutes at 350F until browned.
