BAKED CHOCOLATE
1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 cups sugar 4 large eggs, beaten 1 cup butter, melted and cooled 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup black walnuts (optional) Whipped cream (to serve)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Butter a 8x10x2-inch baking dish.
Sift flour and cocoa; add sugar; stir in eggs. Stir in butter, vanilla and walnuts. Pour into prepared baking dish.
Place chocolate baking dish into a larger pan with enough hot water to reach halfway up the side.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until set. Let chocolate cool on rack.
Serve in squares with whipped cream.
