i have not, to my knowledge, ever eaten a stottie cake, but the recipes i've read appear to be similar to our American hamburger rolls. has anyone ever made them in a bread machine? i really want to try making some, but we have so much humidity that bread baking can be a total disaster at times. i find the bread machine to be very helpful in this area, and usually only run the cycle up thru a 2nd rise, then form the dough into rolls for baking. do stottie cakes turn out with soft outsides? any help would be welcome! thanx.
