GRANDMA'S MOLASSES BANANA BREAD
4 Tbsp. butter, softened 3/4 cup Grandma's Molasses 1/4 cup sugar 1 1/4 cups flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 eggs 3 large ripe bananas, mashed 1/2 cup each chopped nuts and chocolate chips (optional) 1/2 tsp. each fine orange zest and nutmeg (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan.
Cream butter, molasses and sugar together; set aside.
Whisk together flour, salt and baking soda. Combine with butter mixture until consistency resembles brown sugar. Beat in eggs. Fold in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake 50-60 minutes. Cool.
