chef dunask, all interested - the best flourless chocolate cake I've ever made is also the simplest - it was in Cooks Illustrated. They didn't have alcohol - they had decided it took away slightly from the pure chocolate flavor, so I am pretty sure it was just eggs, chocolate, cream and sugar, and cooked in a bainmarie. velvety texture and died-and-gone-to-heaven flavor. I am sorry I don't have the recipe, but I don't live in the US anymore, and it was a friend's book. i have been looking for it since! |
