APPLE DUMPLING MUFFINS2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup sugar 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon mace 1/4 teaspoon cardamom 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves 1/4 cup oil 4 tablespoons butter, melted 2 eggs 3/4 cup milk 2 apples, peeled, cored, and cut into slices Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 12 muffin pan cups with paper baking cups or waxed paper. Sift together all the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and mix in by hand the oil, butter, eggs, and milk. Fold in the sliced apples. Spoon into prepared muffin pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
