Way back in the 1950s or 60s, my mother made what I would describe as a pastry (not a cookie...I've checked out the recipes for Chocolate Pillow Cookies), that I recall being from a small Pillsbury booklet.

I believe it was a slightly sweet yeast dough that was filled with Hershey's chocolate pieces or kisses before baking. They plumped up into soft, oblong pillows with the surprise of a warm chocolate center. I've been dreaming about them for many years, and can't find mention of them anywhere.

I just realized that I may have "made up" the name Chocolate Pillows over the years and that this is why I haven't been able to find them.

Does anyone else have this memory, or best of all, a recipe?
