How lucky you are to have found this machine. I have had 3 bread machines and that was and is my favorite. Unfortunately, I have the book but not the machine. The order they suggest placing in the machine is: liquid, fat, sugar, salt,flour and yeast. I think the most important thing is not to add the yeast and salt at the same time.
