When I was a little girl, my Mom use to take my brothers and I to downtown Atlanta on little outings. One of our favorite stops was to Rich's Department Store Downtown. The highlight of the trip was going to the Rich's Bakery. They made the best brownies in the world. I'm all grown up now - but this morning (the Friday before Mother's Day) I was telling my Mom not to worry about cooking this Sunday (Mother's Day) that I'm going to go over and cook for her. Of course, what I'm making for a dessert came up; before we knew it we were talking about the best brownies in the world and we both said, Rich's brownies. I didn't know she enjoyed them just as much as my brothers and I. They have since closed. I would really like to make these brownies for my Mom - if anyone has this recipe and would share it - I would be most appreciative. Even if its after Mother's Day - I would love to put the same smile on her face, that she has always put on mine.
