I tried a cherry bar cookie/dessert at a gathering awhile back and was not able to track down the recipe. They were so good! They were cake like on the bottom and top and had a cherry pie type filling. They also had a light icing drizzled on top. They were possibly made using a cake mix, almost like they poured a layer of cake mix batter in the pan, then cherry pie filling and then more cake batter. If anyone has a similar recipe, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
