BUTTER TOFFEE COOKIES
1 cup butter, softened 1 cup sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 3 cups self-rising flour 8 bars toffee candy (Skor or Heath), crushed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream butter and sugars together; set aside.
Beat eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Stir flour, butter, and egg mixtures until blended. Add crushed candy. Drop by level tablespoons onto ungreased sheet.
Bake 9 to 10 minutes. Cool on racks.
Makes about 6 dozen
